César Gálvez is a Parasitological Bacteriologist Chemist with more than 18 years of experience in microbiological analysis laboratories. Currently, he works as Director of Operations at Mérieux NutriSciences México. In addition, he represents the EMA Food Subcommittee before the EMA Testing Laboratory Evaluation Committee, providing his experience and leadership in the field of food safety.

His competencies include the management of analytical projects, the development of microbiological and physicochemical tests, as well as extensive knowledge of national and international regulations.

He stands out for having been coordinator of the Subcommittee on Analysis and Sampling Methods of the Codex Alimentarius, as well as for his role as Vice President of the Inter-American Network of Food Analysis Laboratories.

In addition, he has held positions as Manager of Analysis and Test Development and Coordinator of Analytical Projects at COFEPRIS, where he also served as coordinator of the laboratory network of the Mexican Bivalve Mollusk Health Program (PMSMB).

He has focused his expertise on ensuring food quality and safety.

His solid training and experience make him a reference in the field of the food industry, especially in analysis laboratories.
