She graduated from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Nutrition and Human Food.

She has a Diploma in Institutional Strengthening and Fundraising from the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) also in Social Impact and Socio-Nutritional Impact from Fortalessa and the Faculty of Public Health and Nutrition of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. In 2009 she was certified by the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and in 2013 as a Diabetes Educator by the Anáhuac University.

She was a professor at the University of the Valley of Mexico and at the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos.

Since 2006, she has collaborated with Food Banks of the BAMX Network leading the areas of Nutrition, Social Work and Institutional Relations.
