Quincy Lissaur is a management consultant with a degree in entrepreneurship from Babson College and more than ten years of experience working in food management and standardization. After five years in management consulting and eight years at the British Standards Institution Quincy started his own management consulting firm in 2012 focusing on food safety, sustainability, compliance and corporate strategy. In March 2013 Quincy joined SSAFE as its Executive Director.

At BSI Quincy was responsible for the development of fast-track standards for the food industry, including the PRP series of standards (which became the ISO 22002 series) and PAS 96 for Food Defense, among others. Furthermore, Quincy worked with a wide range of stakeholders to develop a variety of sustainabilityrelated standards.

As the Executive Director Quincy manages the day-to-day operations, helps develop and oversee projects, supports the board members in setting and executing the long-term strategy of the organization, and represents SSAFE publicly by engaging with food sector leaders at Intergovernmental Organizations (WOAH, FAO, Codex, WTO), academia, NGOs and in industry. Quincy is a Dutch national with extensive international experience, having lived in the Netherlands, Brazil, USA, United Kingdom, Colombia, France and Venezuela. Quincy currently lives in Colombia but spends extensive periods of the year between the US, Europe and Asia.
